Elbert Krasniqi, along with other minority party deputies, registered today at the Assembly of Kosovo.
Krasniqi stated that they will vote for the constitution of the Assembly and support Kurti’s government. When asked whether they would vote for a government formed by opposition parties, he emphasized that their support remains with Kurti, whose party won the majority in the February 9 elections.
“We are the parliamentary group of the communities. We are seven deputies currently. We are here to vote for the Assembly Speaker and the Government, it is our duty. This group of deputies supports Kurti’s government because they won the elections and have the majority. I believe that 42.3 percent of citizens voted for their candidate for Prime Minister. For me, that’s important, because it represents the will of the majority. We are seven deputies in this group and an important force in the next government,” Krasniqi said.
