Avni Dehari, the presiding officer of the constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo, has made another effort to reach an agreement among political parties — inviting them once again to consultations prior to the session.
Nacionale has learned that a meeting with representatives of the parliamentary parties is scheduled to take place at 11:30 AM inside the Assembly, shortly before the session begins.
The purpose of these consultations is to reach an agreement on the next steps toward the constitution of the Assembly, at a time when no deal has yet been reached to make the institutions functional.
It remains to be seen whether the parties will reach an agreement this time, or whether this meeting too will conclude without concrete results.
