Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti extended heartfelt Easter greetings to all Christian believers, delivering a message of hope, unity, and spiritual renewal, as Catholics, Orthodox, and Protestants around the world celebrate the holiday on the same day this year.
In a Facebook post, Kurti emphasized that Easter is more than just a religious celebration — it is a moment for reflection, rebirth, and reaffirmation of values.
“Let us love one another and our homeland endlessly. Let our hope be as vast as our desires. Let us protect the light as we protect ourselves. Let us fulfill the trial of being human through faith and the virtue of goodness,” Kurti wrote.
He stressed that the holiday unites believers and brings with it powerful messages of peace, love, and mutual support.
“Easter Sunday is the greatest day celebrated in every believer’s home and at every church altar for 2025 years. More than a celebration, it is an invitation to reflect, to be reborn, and to hope,” he added.
Kurti concluded by encouraging strength through patience and compassion in the face of hardship, stating that prayers offered today should become good that spreads among all of us.
