Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, extended heartfelt Easter wishes to Catholic and Orthodox believers, emphasizing values of peace, love, and human solidarity.
In a Facebook post, Abdixhiku wrote:
“On behalf of the Democratic League of Kosovo and in my personal name, I wish all Catholic and Orthodox believers joy and blessings on this holy occasion.”
He called for the day to be a special moment of unity:
“Let this festive day be a special moment of peace and love for you and your families. Above all, may it serve as a renewal of our highest human values—love, respect, and solidarity among one another. Happy Easter for many years to come!”
His message adds to the wave of greetings from Kosovo’s political leaders marking a rare year when Easter is celebrated simultaneously by Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant communities.
