A coordinated operation between the Basic Prosecution of Pristina and the Kosovo Police Anti-Drug Unit has resulted in the seizure of over 2 kilograms of suspected cocaine, as well as confiscation of firearms, vehicles, and other material evidence.
Kosovo Police spokesperson Daut Hoxha confirmed that the operation began today at 3:00 PM in the Veternik neighborhood of Pristina as part of a special investigative measure. The operation is still ongoing at several other locations.
“Today, on April 22, 2025, the Kosovo Police launched a tactical operation under a special investigative measure. So far, five suspects have been arrested, and cocaine, firearms, vehicles, and other relevant evidence have been seized,” said Hoxha.
The Basic Prosecution of Pristina confirmed in a media statement that the operation is ongoing and that investigations continue to clarify all aspects of the case.
Authorities expect the operation to expand to other locations, and more details will be shared regarding the results once the raids are complete.
