The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has voiced support for the formation of a pro-American government led by the opposition, one that would remove the existing tariff on the United States and strengthen ties with Washington.

Speaking on the Pressing show on T7, Haradinaj said a PDK-LDK agreement naming either Bedri Hamza or Lumir Abdixhiku as prime minister would be acceptable to AAK.

“A good, pro-American government removes the tariff on the U.S.,” Haradinaj stated.
“With Bedri Hamza? Why not. With Lumir Abdixhiku? Both are good. Either one. I’m not a candidate for prime minister because I didn’t receive enough votes.”

He stressed that AAK has no interest in claiming the prime minister position, signaling readiness to support a broader opposition coalition aimed at restoring trust and cooperation with the U.S. as a top priority.
