The meeting between Albin Kurti, the acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, and Memli Krasniqi, the leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), has started this morning at 08:35, prior to the ninth attempt to constitute the Assembly.

Kurti had also extended an invitation to Lumir Abdixhiku, the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), but it was declined.

Today’s meeting is scheduled before the continuation of the ninth session of the Constitutive Assembly at 10:00 AM.

During the eighth attempt to constitute the Assembly, held on Tuesday, Albulena Haxhiu, the LVV-proposed candidate for Speaker, failed to be elected for the sixth time.

Following this, Kurti invited Krasniqi to a meeting and also extended an invitation to Abdixhiku from LDK. However, LDK has stated that neither Abdixhiku nor anyone else from the party will attend the meeting called by Kurti.
