Following Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s invitation to LDK for a governing coalition, MP Haxhi Avdyli from the Guxo group has responded by emphasizing that a coalition agreement is not impossible—but only if citizens’ interests are prioritized over political ego or factionalism.
In his statement, Avdyli underlined the necessity of cooperation:
“If we put the interest of the citizens and the country before personal or group agendas, an agreement is not impossible,” he said.
He stressed that the true victory is when Kosovo benefits as a whole, implying that the welfare of the nation must take precedence over party gains.
“It is certain that when Kosovo wins, we all win,” Avdyli added.
Furthermore, he issued a warning against political stagnation:
“The alternative of refusal and blockage is a dead-end road. For everyone. Without exception.”
These remarks arrive in the context of ongoing parliamentary gridlock, where multiple attempts to form governing structures have failed. Avdyli’s message aligns with other voices calling for mature political dialogue and unity in facing the country’s challenges.
