As Kosovo heads into its 25th attempt to constitute the Assembly, tensions remain high.

Agim Bahtiri, a deputy from Vetëvendosje (LVV), has called on other political parties to reflect and cooperate, warning that the ongoing deadlock is harming Kosovo’s image both domestically and internationally.

“It’s terrible — even before their own families, let alone the people,” Bahtiri said, expressing frustration over the political stalemate.

“Once again, I urge them to reflect positively. We are looking bad in front of the international community, and before our own people,” he added.

Political Impasse Continues

The inability to finalize the Assembly’s composition has sparked concern among Kosovo’s allies, with many international partners urging a swift resolution to the institutional crisis.

The parliamentary gridlock comes at a time when regional and internal challenges require strong governance and unity.

Observers note that a failure to constitute the Assembly for the 25th time may lead to increased pressure from the international community and further erosion of public trust in the political system.
