Besa Shahini, the wife of Dardan Molliqaj, has officially announced her candidacy for Mayor of Prishtina.
The former Minister of Education in Albania is widely expected to run under the banner of the Social Democratic Party (PSD).
“Prishtina needs a radical shift in its development direction. A city covered in concrete, unclean, and unfriendly to children. I invite all of you who still have some energy left to join me in the effort for change,” Shahini stated in a video address.
