Tomorrow, the 27th consecutive parliamentary session will be held in the Assembly of Kosovo, as the political deadlock over electing the Speaker continues.

Opposition parties remain firmly opposed to Vetëvendosje’s (VV) insistence that the vote for Albulena Haxhiu as Speaker be conducted by secret ballot.

Despite the ongoing impasse, Vetëvendosje has not withdrawn Haxhiu’s nomination and appears committed to pushing forward with her candidacy.

Meanwhile, President Vjosa Osmani convened a meeting with party representatives today, but the political gridlock was not discussed the meeting focused only on upcoming local elections.

📍The session is set to begin at 11:00 AM.
