The 35th attempt to constitute the Kosovo Assembly has also failed.

During this session, the Committee responsible for organizing the secret ballot for the election of the Assembly Speaker did not have the required quorum.

With 51 votes in favor, one against, and no abstentions, the session was suspended.

The presiding officer of the constitutive session, Avni Dehari, announced that the session will continue on June 23 at 11:00 AM.

This ongoing failure deepens the political deadlock and increases uncertainty about the start of the Assembly’s work, leaving urgent national issues unresolved.

In the absence of an agreement, the legislative bodies remain inactive, posing a major challenge to the stability and normal functioning of institutions.
