U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran informed the United States ahead of launching missiles at the American military base in Qatar—an action he claims prevented any casualties, The Guardian reports.

Trump described Iran’s response to the U.S. strikes on nuclear sites as “expected” and called the Iranian attack “very weak.”

“Fourteen rockets were launched—13 were intercepted, and one was left alone because it posed no threat.”

He confirmed that no Americans were injured in the attack.

“…not a single American was hurt, and the damage was virtually negligible. Most importantly, they got it out of their system, and hopefully there will be no more hatred,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

Trump urged both Iran and Israel to turn toward peace and harmony.

“Perhaps now Iran can move toward peace and harmony in the region, and I would strongly encourage Israel to do the same.”

In a follow-up post, he wrote:

“Congratulations world, it’s time for peace.”
