U.S. President Donald Trump made a new statement on his Truth Social platform, claiming that both Iran and Israel approached him nearly at the same time, asking for peace.
“Israel and Iran came to me, almost at the same time, and said: ‘PEACE!’ I knew the time was NOW. The world, and the Middle East, are the true winners! Both nations will experience extraordinary LOVE, PEACE, AND PROSPERITY in the future. They have much to gain—but also much to lose if they stray from the path of JUSTICE and TRUTH,” Trump wrote.
He added that the future of both Iran and Israel is “limitless and full of great promise.”
“GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!” he concluded.
This statement comes amid conflicting reports about the status of a ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel—initially denied by Tehran, while Iranian state media later confirmed its existence.
