The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has welcomed the historic agreement between Ukraine and the Council of Europe for the establishment of a Special Tribunal to address the crime of aggression committed by Russia.
In a post on the X platform, Kurti called it an important day for international justice and a major step forward in the fight against impunity.
“The Council of Europe sends a clear message: the rule of law will prevail over aggression. There can be no impunity,” Kurti wrote.
He added that Kosovo fully supports this initiative and stands with Ukraine in its efforts to bring justice to victims and hold those responsible for the aggression accountable.
