An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale struck southwestern Albania this Thursday at approximately 13:51 local time.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the epicenter was located about 17 kilometers southeast of Patos, with a shallow depth of just 5 kilometers, making the tremor noticeably felt in the surrounding areas.
The quake was felt primarily in Fier, Patos, and Ballsh, but no material damage or injuries have been reported.
