Hamas is reportedly prepared to accept a new ceasefire proposal with Israel, which includes a detailed 60-day agreement brokered by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, RKS News reports.
According to the Egyptian broadcaster Al-Rad, the deal includes international guarantees and a personal commitment from U.S. President Donald Trump, who is expected to play a supervisory role in its implementation.
Under the terms of the proposal:
On Day 1, Hamas will release eight live hostages, and the Israeli military will begin a phased withdrawal from northern Gaza.
By the end of the first week, the remains of five deceased hostages will be returned.
On Day 10, Hamas will provide medical data about the remaining hostages, while Israel will release information on Palestinians detained after October 7, 2023.
On Day 30 and Day 60, more hostage remains will be returned.
On Day 50, two more hostages will be released alive.
The agreement also stipulates that Israel will allow the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza and continue its troop withdrawal gradually toward the south.
