NATO’s peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, KFOR, has extended warm wishes to the United States of America on the occasion of July 4th – U.S. Independence Day.
In a Facebook post, KFOR expressed gratitude for America’s enduring alliance and support in Kosovo:
“Happy National Day to our American allies. The United States of America is one of the 33 troop-contributing nations to the KFOR mission,” the statement read.
Today, on July 4, 2025, the U.S. marks the 249th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence from the United Kingdom—a historic day proudly celebrated across the country and by its allies worldwide.
The U.S. remains one of Kosovo’s strongest strategic partners, having contributed for decades to regional peace and stability through its vital presence in KFOR.
