Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with U.S. special envoy Keith Kellogg in Kyiv to discuss critical aspects of military and diplomatic cooperation amid Russia’s ongoing aggression.

In a Telegram post, Zelenskyy stated:
“We discussed the path to peace and what we can practically do together to bring it closer. This includes strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, joint production and procurement of defensive weapons alongside Europe, and of course, sanctions against Russia and those assisting it.”

Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to both Kellogg and U.S. President Donald Trump, signaling optimism following Trump’s recent pledge to supply more weapons to Ukraine in the coming months.

The visit marks a strategic reinforcement of Ukraine-U.S. ties as Kyiv seeks greater support in its defense and security sector, especially amid renewed Russian offensives.
