Members of the Kosovo Assembly have failed for the 53rd time to constitute the new legislature. During the session held on Saturday at 14:00, lawmakers were once again unable to overcome the political deadlock.
Following the failure, another session has been scheduled for tonight at 22:00.
A total of 101 MPs were present in the chamber. Representatives from PDK, LDK, and AAK demanded a return to the agenda item concerning the vote for the Assembly Speaker, rather than proceeding with the formation of a commission for a secret ballot. However, the presiding member, Avni Dehari, cut them off and did not allow the matter to be reopened.
