What is the Situation with Fires in Kosovo?

Last night, the Agency for Emergency Management (AME) provided details regarding the fire situation in Kosovo.

According to yesterday’s report, 57 fire outbreaks were registered across the country, of which 11 remain active.

The AME stated that 46 fires have been localized.

“AME/MPB informs that, based on the data received today, a total of 57 fire outbreaks have been registered in the country. Of these, 11 remain active, while 46 have been localized. The situation is being managed in full coordination with the Professional Fire and Rescue Units.”

The AME appealed to citizens to exercise increased caution:

“The Agency calls on all citizens to be extra careful, avoid any action that may cause fire, and immediately report any fire outbreaks to the emergency numbers 112, 193, and 192.”

Finally, the Agency expressed gratitude for the commitment of firefighters, the support of the Kosovo Police, and the cooperation of citizens:

“The Agency expresses its gratitude for the tireless dedication of the firefighters, the support of the Kosovo Police, and the cooperation of citizens.”
