The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, welcomed the Australian Ambassador to Kosovo, Richard Rodgers, at the party headquarters.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest political developments in the country, institutional challenges, and opportunities to deepen cooperation between Kosovo and Australia.
“I had the pleasure of welcoming the Ambassador of Australia to Kosovo, Richard Rodgers, at the headquarters of the Democratic Party of Kosovo. We discussed the latest political developments in the country as well as the current challenges in the process of institutional building. I emphasized that PDK has maintained a responsible and constructive stance in efforts to unblock institutions and restore political stability,” wrote Krasniqi.
He further noted that they also discussed possibilities of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
“I thanked Ambassador Rodgers for the continuous support Australia has given to Kosovo, from the early recognition of independence to the ongoing diplomatic engagement,” Krasniqi added.
