Kosovo national team striker Fisnik Asllani continues his exceptional form in the Bundesliga.
The 23-year-old scored two goals in Hoffenheim’s 4-2 victory over Union Berlin.
Asllani opened the scoring in the 45+3’ minute with a header following an assist from Lemperle. He scored Hoffenheim’s second goal of the match shortly after Kramaric had converted a penalty two minutes earlier.
In the second half, Asllani struck again, netting his second personal goal of the game to make it 3-1, after Union Berlin had temporarily reduced the deficit through Ansah.
Asllani was substituted in the 66th minute. Hoffenheim sealed the 4-2 victory when Lemperle converted a penalty in the 82nd minute.
This marks Hoffenheim’s second win in their first three Bundesliga matchdays. They previously defeated Bayer Leverkusen away in the first round but suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Frankfurt in the second. Asllani has now recorded three goals and one assist across these opening three rounds of the German top flight.
