KSF Receives Praise for Performance in U.S. SATMO Activities

The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Bashkim Jashari, met with the Commander of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO), Thomas Melton.

According to a statement from the KSF, the meeting highlighted and commended the achievements of the Kosovo military and the outstanding performance demonstrated by its personnel during activities with SATMO teams.

During the discussion, the parties reviewed the activities conducted so far, including the support provided by SATMO teams in developing training capacities and validating units, as part of the KSF’s development plan.

“Furthermore, the three-year plan for joint future activities was discussed, emphasizing the exceptional role of SATMO teams in training and developing new capacities for the KSF,” the statement noted.

“At the conclusion of the meeting, it was reiterated that the support from SATMO training teams is crucial for advancing the professionalism of KSF units.”
