The Kosovo Police has issued a notice regarding new EU entry and exit regulations effective October 12, 2025.
Starting from that date, the Entry/Exit System (EES) – a digital system for recording arrivals and departures in the EU – will come into force.
“This applies to all non-EU citizens traveling to Europe. Passport stamps will no longer be issued – everything will be digital. Entries and exits, fingerprints, and photographs will be automatically registered,” the police statement reads.
Details of the notice are published on the website of the National Center for Border Management.
