Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that today’s meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump represents a key step not only toward ending the war in Gaza but also in creating conditions for peace across the entire Middle East.
“I support your plan to end the war in Gaza,” Netanyahu said, referring to Trump’s proposed 20-point plan.
According to him, this plan will ensure that Israel no longer faces threats from Hamas.
He also thanked Israeli soldiers, who, as he described, “fight like lions against barbarism.”
Netanyahu emphasized that all hostages—both alive and deceased—must be returned within 72 hours.
He added that all parties are being given the opportunity to act peacefully, but warned that if Hamas rejects the plan, or if it pretends to accept it without implementation, “we will finish the job.”
“This can be done the easy way or the hard way, but it will be done,” he declared.
Netanyahu also stressed that the Palestinian Authority cannot play any role in Gaza without undergoing a “radical and genuine reform.”
The Israeli Prime Minister added that this peace plan could mark “a new beginning” for Gaza and the entire Middle East region.
He further noted that the Abraham Accords could be “revitalized with new energy” and expanded to include additional Arab and Muslim countries.
