The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo was illuminated in red on the evening of September 29, marking World Heart Day.
“This activity was carried out as part of the global initiative of the World Heart Federation, which each year invites monuments and institutions around the world to be lit up in red, in order to raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases – the leading cause of death globally,” reads the announcement by NIPH Kosovo on Facebook.
