President Osmani Visits Kosovo’s Special Operations Unit, Praises U.S.-Style Training

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani visited the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) on Monday, where she was welcomed by FSK Commander, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari.

During the visit, Osmani emphasized the significance of the Special Operations Unit, noting that its members “carry not only the uniform of the state but also the legacy of Kosovo’s freedom.” She praised the unit’s training according to U.S. military doctrine, describing them as “the pride, honor, and unbreakable heart of Kosovo.”

The FSK reported that President Osmani was briefed on the unit’s objectives and professional capabilities, observing a simulated operation that showcased high levels of professionalism, preparation, and coordination.

At the conclusion of the visit, Osmani and General Jashari had lunch with members of the Special Operations Unit, commending their contributions to strengthening FSK capabilities and promoting gender equality within the force.
