A shocking new testimony has emerged regarding the recent abduction and shooting of a Kosovo Serb citizen near Leposaviq, allegedly carried out by a group led by Milan Radoičić, a notorious figure linked to organized crime and past terror attacks in northern Kosovo.
The Kosovo Police confirmed on Saturday that they had received information about a Kosovo Serb citizen being shot and abducted within Kosovo’s sovereign territory by individuals believed to be members of the Serbian Gendarmerie.
Eyewitness Account: “It Was Radoičić’s Group”
Radoica Radomirović, former Deputy Minister for Communities and Returns in the Government of Kosovo, told Betimi për Drejtësi that he personally witnessed the incident, claiming that Milan Vukašinović was attacked and kidnapped by Radoičić’s group.
According to Radomirović, the event occurred when Vukašinović went to purchase honey from a man employed in the Serbian Army, near the village of Jelakce, at a location known as Lokvica, which lies inside Kosovo but close to the Serbian border.
“When Milan arrived, armed men in black and green uniforms, wearing masks, emerged from the forest.
Milan didn’t stop the car — he kept driving. Milan Radoičić, known as a coward, always shoots from behind, and he did the same this time,” Radomirović stated.
Victim Allegedly Taken to Serbia for Treatment
Radomirović claims that after the attack, Vukašinović was transported to Prokuplje Hospital by the armed group, and later transferred to Niš, Serbia.
Before losing contact, the victim managed to call his mother, telling her that he had been shot in Kosovo and was being taken to Niš.
“Through contacts in Niš, I learned that Milan was in critical condition — one kidney and his pericardium were removed, and he had a bullet lodged in his spine.
I was also told that Radoičić was in Kosovo with members of the Serbian Military Security Agency (VBA), including an officer named Sedlar,” Radomirović added.
He further alleged that the medical staff in Niš were ordered not to release any information about the patient’s condition by Zoran Perišić, the hospital’s director.
Political and Security Implications
Radomirović emphasized that both he and Vukašinović are members of the Novo Lice Narodna Pravda party and that the victim has been employed at the Jarinjë border crossing since 2022 as part of a Kosovar insurance company.
He also recalled that in 2024, Milan Radoičić allegedly tried to assassinate Vukašinović by planting an explosive under his car — a claim consistent with Radoičić’s violent record, including his alleged role in the Banjska terrorist attack in 2023.
“Milan Vukašinović has remained loyal to Kosovo’s institutions and has not visited Serbia since 2022,” Radomirović said.
Kosovo Police Confirms Incident Near Leposaviq/Leposavić
The Kosovo Police officially confirmed that the incident took place within Kosovo’s territory, near Leposaviq/Leposavić, at the so-called “zero point” zone, an area under KFOR responsibility.
“On November 1, 2025, a Kosovo Serb citizen (M.V.) was shot and abducted by masked individuals believed to have crossed illegally from Serbia,”
said the police statement.
“The victim was taken by ambulance to Serbia, reportedly to the city of Niš.”
Kosovo’s Department for Organized and Serious Crimes has launched an investigation, working in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office in Mitrovica and KFOR.
“The Kosovo Police remain committed to upholding the rule of law and protecting the sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo,” the statement concluded.
Context: Rising Serbian Aggression and Radoičić’s Role
The incident adds to the growing evidence of Serbia’s direct interference in Kosovo’s internal affairs, as well as the continued impunity of Milan Radoičić, a figure widely accused of paramilitary violence and organized crime.
Observers warn that such cross-border attacks risk escalating regional tensions, particularly as Serbia continues to defy international calls for restraint.
