Mayor Alban Hyseni has officially begun his second term in Gjilan by initiating the first phase of the City Boulevard project, which includes the removal of the old Administration building and adjacent structures.
Hyseni described the project as a significant step forward for the city, following approval from the Institute for Cultural Heritage, marking a new chapter in Gjilan’s urban development.
“The first day of my second term begins with the City Boulevard project! The removal of the Administration building and surrounding structures, after the long-awaited approval from the Institute for Cultural Heritage, is a historic step for our city. Ongoing projects will continue, and new initiatives will make Gjilan more modern, functional, and beautiful,” Hyseni said.
The mayor highlighted that this work is part of a broader effort to enhance the city’s infrastructure, public spaces, and quality of life for residents, setting a strong tone for the second term.
