Mandate holder Glauk Konjufca has only four days left to propose the new government composition to the Assembly, with the deadline set for November 19, in order to see if he can secure the necessary votes to form the new executive.

However, based on current party positions, there is little hope.

Konjufca’s nomination by Lëvizja Vetëvendosje (LVV) has so far not changed the stances of other political parties. PDK, LDK, AAK, and Nisma continue to oppose supporting a government led by him.

These parliamentary parties have reiterated their position that they will not vote for a government headed by Konjufca and have called for the country to head to new elections.

Meanwhile, LVV does not consider holding elections in December as the best solution.
