The Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo has taken the first step toward constructing a new Presidential building by publishing the announcement of the contracting authority’s decision regarding the procedure for the “Preparation of a Feasibility Plan.”
The winner of this project has now been announced: the Economic Operational Group, consisting of FST Engineering SH.P.K, AL Engineering SH.P.K, and GJEO-PROJEKT SH.P.K, offering the lowest economic bid of €13,924.00.
This official step marks the formal start of the process, paving the way for the preparation of the feasibility plan and subsequent initiatives for the construction of the new Presidential building of the Republic of Kosovo.
For context, there have often been discussions about the presidency having a dedicated building, but since Kosovo declared independence in 2008, its institutions have not had a structure built specifically for the country’s President.
