Deputy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Përparim Gruda, stated that the extraordinary session with the agenda item on the formation of parliamentary committees is unconstitutional.
As the only opposition deputy attending this session, Gruda emphasized that no parliament can hold sessions without first electing a government.
“Other issues cannot be addressed without the formation of the Government. This is a standard recognized worldwide,” he said.
Regarding the agenda, Gruda declared that the current government has no right to propose the budget, adding: “This Parliament has no connection with the existing government.”
He also stated that forming committees is impossible because it is unclear who holds power and who is in the opposition.
