The British Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, was today received in a meeting by the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.
During the meeting, Hargreaves expressed his concern over the failure of political parties to reach an agreement on the budget.
They also discussed the dissolution of the Assembly, the upcoming elections, and the electoral campaign.
“We discussed hopes for a calm and positive election campaign. I expressed concern about the failure of political parties to reach an agreement on extending the budget, the EU Growth Plan, and World Bank financing agreements, which would benefit the people of Kosovo,” he stated.
The Ambassador also emphasized that he expects cooperation from the parties after the extraordinary elections, underlining that Kosovo cannot afford to waste any more time.
