Heavy rainfall over the past few days across Kosovo has caused significant difficulties, blocking roads, flooding various areas, and increasing risks for citizens.
Intense rainfall has created serious challenges for several families in the municipality of Rahovec, who became trapped inside their homes.
“Together with members of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), the evacuation of two families in the village of Xërxë was carried out today, ensuring their safe removal from the endangered areas,” the Municipality of Rahovec announced.
To ensure the health and safety of the evacuated citizens, medical staff from the Family Medical Care Center in Rahovec provided first medical aid, after which the individuals were transported to the hospital for further treatment.
