The United States has officially announced its withdrawal from a number of international organizations, including two with which Kosovo has long-standing cooperation: the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe.

Kosovo has been a member of the RCC since 2013 and maintains ongoing collaborations with the organization. Meanwhile, although Kosovo is not a member of the Council of Europe, it has participated in proceedings of the Venice Commission for several years.

The announcement of the U.S. withdrawal and the cessation of its support for these organizations was published on the official White House website.
