Twenty-seven years have passed since the massacre in the village of Rogova of Has, one of the tragic crimes committed during the final phase of the war in Kosovo.
Between January 27 and 29, 1999, fighters of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) were ambushed by Serbian forces in the village. Numerous civilians were also killed, despite not being involved in combat.
During these three days, 21 people were killed and later recognized as martyrs, marking one of the darkest episodes of violence against the local population in the Has region.
