Ramiz Bytyqi, from the village of Kërvasari in the Municipality of Malisheva, has passed away. He was a hero of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and a distinguished, devoted physician.
He served as an anesthesiologist at the Peja hospital and made an extraordinary contribution during the war, transforming his home into a military hospital and performing over 50 surgical operations to save lives.
His funeral will take place tomorrow at 14:00 at the city cemetery in Peja.
