The presence of Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the AAK party, at the Morning Prayers event in the United States has angered the Serbian lobby in the country.
The Serbian lobbying organization “Serbian National Defense”, based in Chicago, publicly attacked Haradinaj on social media platform X, leveling harsh and unfounded accusations against him for his role in the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK). The group referenced alleged organ trafficking and the so-called “Yellow House” in Albania, demanding that U.S. authorities place Haradinaj in prison rather than allowing him to participate in the prayers.
During his visit to Washington, Haradinaj held meetings on Capitol Hill, delivering a speech in the U.S. Congress as part of the Interparliamentary Security Forum, while AAK stated that he is expected to continue meetings at the Pentagon.
