Workers of the Public Enterprise “Trafiku Urban” in Prishtina have announced plans to go on strike starting February 13, 2026, if they do not receive an institutional response to their demands by that date.
According to a document published by Telegrafi, reportedly submitted to the enterprise’s management, the workers stated that they submitted a preliminary strike notice on January 26, 2026, but as of February 6, they had not received any response from the competent authorities.
The document emphasizes that the decision to strike is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and the Law on Strikes, while also noting that the minimum level of work processes will be maintained to avoid affecting public interests and citizens’ safety.
The workers of Trafiku Urban confirmed that the strike will be conducted in full compliance with existing legislation, and this notice serves as the final legal warning.
