The Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, held a bilateral meeting today with the British Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, at the party’s headquarters.
According to an official social media announcement by the AAK leader, the discussions focused on the complex domestic and international processes currently facing Kosovo, as well as avenues to further advance bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Kosovo.
“With Ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves, we discussed the ongoing processes our country is navigating and the advancement of bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Kosovo,” Haradinaj stated following the meeting.
The former Prime Minister extended his gratitude to Ambassador Hargreaves for his personal engagement and the enduring diplomatic, economic, and security support provided by the United Kingdom.
Haradinaj strongly reiterated Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations, positioning them as a vital security necessity rather than a mere political objective.
“Kosova highly values the excellent relations with the United Kingdom and its continuous support for strengthening our statehood on the international arena,” Haradinaj emphasized. “In this regard, Kosovo’s membership in NATO remains a strategic necessity for long-term peace, security, and stability in the region.”
The meeting underscores the intensive diplomatic engagements taking place in Prishtina as political leaders seek to solidify Western alliances amidst ongoing regional security realignments.
