Agron Bajrami Appointed Kosovo’s Chief Negotiator in Technical Dialogue With Serbia

The Government of the Republic of Kosovo has appointed Agron Bajrami, Kosovo’s ambassador to Belgium, as the Republic of Kosovo’s chief negotiator in the technical dialogue with Serbia aimed at normalizing relations between the two countries.

The decision was made on September 17, 2026, and signed by the Prime Minister of Kosovo.

According to the decision, Bajrami’s mandate as chief negotiator will end when the prime minister’s term in office expires, unless his appointment is terminated earlier.

The decision also stipulates that Bajrami is required to declare his assets in accordance with applicable legislation.

The decision entered into force on the day it was signed by the prime minister.
