Altin Krasniqi, son of former Kosovo Assembly Speaker Jakup Krasniqi, has spoken out ahead of the expected verdict in The Hague against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), saying that the KLA has been, is, and will remain “the most glorious chapter in the history of the Albanian people.”
In a Facebook post, Krasniqi stressed that, in his view, no trial or verdict can change the historical truth about the KLA.
“Thanks to it, the Albanians of Kosovo have their own state today and live with dignity and freedom. No trial and no verdict can change this historical truth. The KLA is our history, our pride and the symbol of our struggle for freedom,” Krasniqi wrote.
