Ankara is finalizing preparations to host the NATO Summit, scheduled for July 7–8, while Turkish media have revealed the first details regarding U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit and the agenda for his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

According to reports, Trump is expected to arrive in the Turkish capital on July 7, accompanied by a large U.S. delegation. Security and logistical teams have been preparing for the visit for several days.

Under the planned itinerary, the U.S. president’s first official stop will be at Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, where he is expected to lay a wreath and pay his respects.

Trump will then be officially welcomed by President Erdoğan at the Presidential Palace, where a formal reception ceremony will take place.

Following the ceremony, the two leaders are expected to hold a one-on-one meeting, followed by talks between their respective delegations. Discussions are expected to focus on bilateral relations, security issues, NATO cooperation, and regional and international developments.

Turkish media also report that Trump and Erdoğan may hold a joint press conference after their meeting, while the signing of several cooperation agreements is also under consideration.

As part of the NATO Summit, the Defense Industry Forum will also be held on July 7 at the ATO Congress Center in Ankara. The event is expected to bring together NATO officials, government representatives, and executives from leading defense companies to strengthen partnerships and cooperation within the defense sector.
