The President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, is expected to visit Kosovo as part of his upcoming tour of the Western Balkans, scheduled for May.
The news was confirmed by the European Council.
However, the specific topics to be discussed have not yet been revealed, as the program is still in preparation, according to the Council.
“Yes, President Costa will also visit Kosovo; the program details are still being prepared, so we cannot confirm any specifics at this moment,” the European Council told KlanKosova.tv.
Earlier, during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, President Costa stated that the best way to ensure prosperity, peace, and stability in the Western Balkans is through integration into the European Union.
For this reason, he announced that he will conduct a regional tour across the Western Balkans in mid-May.
