Kosovo Police arrested four Serbian nationals on April 5th, after two knives and an axe were discovered in their vehicle, which had Serbian plates. The suspects were detained for questioning and further investigation.

Following this event, the Kosovo Security Council convened at the request of Prime Minister Albin Kurti. The meeting addressed the ongoing security situation in the country, with a particular focus on Serbia’s destabilizing actions. It was noted that one of the arrested individuals was a Serbian police officer and another was a captain in the Serbian army.

The Security Council emphasized the need for heightened vigilance and readiness from all state institutions and mechanisms to prevent further interference, especially as Serbia continues to exert influence in Kosovo’s internal affairs. This development adds to concerns over Serbia’s involvement in undermining Kosovo’s stability and sovereignty.
