Kosovo’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has released the preliminary results of today’s early parliamentary elections.
According to CEC Chairperson Kreshnik Radoniqi, approximately 96.84% of polling stations had been processed at the time of the latest update, with the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) leading the race with 43.06% of the vote.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) is in second place with 21.24%, followed by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) with 17.70%. The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has secured 7.07% of the vote.
Radoniqi emphasized that these are preliminary results and that the electoral process is not yet complete, as ballots cast by mail, conditional votes, and diaspora votes still need to be counted.
He added that counting at the Municipal Counting Centers will begin tomorrow, while the final certified results will be published after all counting and verification procedures have been completed.
