Bosniak MP Emilja Rexhepi has commented on the failure of the Kosovo Assembly’s constitutional session, emphasizing that the issue did not lie in the absence of votes, but rather the physical absence of deputies in the chamber.

According to her, the votes are there, but the insufficient presence of deputies prevented the parliamentary procedures from advancing.

“There are votes. There were no deputies in the hall,” Rexhepi briefly stated to FrontOnline, hinting that the lack of coordination among parliamentary groups and political stances are obstructing the formation of the new institutions.

Rexhepi also discussed the role of the President in the current situation, expressing her expectation that the session will continue within 48 hours. “When the President calls… I believe within 48 hours,” the MP added.
