The new head coach of the Albanian national football team, Rolando Maran, has thanked FSHF president Armand Duka for the opportunity to lead the “red and blacks,” emphasizing that he sees it as a great responsibility and a privilege.

He also expressed gratitude to former coach Sylvinho for his words and contribution during his time in charge of the national team, noting that he has closely followed the team’s progress and congratulating him on the work he has done.

“I thank President Duka for giving me the opportunity to coach a national team that represents a people with great pride. Being close to Albania and its fans is something I have always perceived as a strong connection with their pride and passion.

My promise is that we will transfer this love for the shirt onto the pitch, giving my maximum effort together with the staff that will work with me. It will be a major moral and professional commitment.

This is a mission I feel deeply inside, and I want what you, the fans, and the entire nation represent to be reflected on the pitch.”

These were the first words of the new Albania national team coach, Rolando Maran, during the press conference, where he was present alongside FSHF president Armand Duka and former coach Sylvinho.
