Former Constitutional Court President Enver Hasani has stated that the upcoming Kosovo Assembly session to vote on the new government, scheduled for Sunday, October 26, is unconstitutional.

Hasani argues that President Vjosa Osmani rushed to appoint Albin Kurti, head of Lëvizja Vetëvendosje, as the mandate holder for forming the executive branch and arbitrarily confirmed the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly.

“By showing haste, Mrs. Osmani has committed a serious violation of the Constitution of Kosovo,” Hasani told RFE/RL.
